HBSi’s applications are located at Equinix’s IBX Tier 1 Data Center in Ashburn, Virginia. Equinix owns and operates 15 IBX facilities worldwide. This arrangement helps ensure the highest level of security and availability for your hotel data and booking transactions. Data Center features include the following:

  • Built to withstand wind, water, and seismic activity
  • Multiple power grids plus uninterruptible power supply (UPS) backups to keep the facility running until diesel generators start (with 72-plus hours of backup fuel)
  • Fully fault-tolerant network inside the data center
  • 24/7 facilities and environment monitoring by Equinix’s network operations center
  • Redundant cooling systems ensures optimal 72 degrees and 45 percent relative humidity
  • Very early warning fire detection (VEWFD) system and smoke management system as well as early warning fire detection (EWFD) for computer and network rooms including raised floors
  • Roving security patrols secure storage, locking cabinets, private cages, and provide mandatory escorting for authorized personnel
